Who Are the Elites?

You've probably heard the expression “power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Therefore, it's best to keep power split up so that no one person can abuse it. 

Sadly, modern America is upside down. A small group of people holds way too much power and their power has made them corrupt. 

We call them the elites. They are the ones running Goliath Wall Street firms, big tech giants, and other huge multinational corporations. They are the billionaire class who use “philanthropy” to manipulate us into giving up control over our future. They are media and Hollywood stars whose pathetic insecurity compels them to go along with whatever the other elites tell them to.

The problem isn’t being rich. Capitalism rocks and people who bring value to society through a business or talent should be rewarded accordingly. The problem is people abusing power and exploiting others.  

Instead of thinking of the elites as part of an evil cabal, think of them as an exclusive club for the rich and powerful. They stick together because it’s in their common interest to keep us poor and powerless.  

Many of the elites have no values. All they care about is money and power. Others have values – kooky values actually – ones that are the exact opposite of ours. They believe freedom is overrated, and we would all be better off letting them micromanage every aspect of our lives. These are the key issues we’re confronting.
