We typically discuss macro issues. Wall Street. Big business. The elites that run them both. It’s heavy stuff sometimes, but our goal is to remind Main Streeters how much day-to-day influence we have over our future. 

Look at the world of small business, where the spirit of Main Streeters is on full display. The bravery. The creativity. The toughness. Main Street entrepreneurs are the backbone of America. That’s who we’ll talk about today.

It’s worth noting that we’re not talking about venture-capital-funded-tech-startup entrepreneurs. They have a place in our economy for sure, but we’re not falling for their mythology about struggling to become “ramen profitable” with everyone stuffed in a studio apartment doing all night hackathons to make it. C’mon guys (it’s mostly guys). You’re backed by billionaires. You hope to become billionaires yourself. And you have a pretty solid backup plan of making $300,000 per year as an engineer at Google. You’ll be fine.
